Job Requirements

Requirements:
* 4 year college degree with major in Mathematics, Statistics or related subject
* 5-10 years related work experience
*Knowledge and experience with statistical concepts, data analysis and multivariate modeling techniques including regression analysis, proficiency with statistical software and tools including R, SQL2005
Analysis services (or equivalent)
* Ability to travel 10-25%
* Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills required.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Access and Word
*Insurance experience or other financial services experience preferred
*First class analytical skills and ability to seek answers to problems within data sets
*Experience with successful design and rollout of product enhancements and implementations driven by statistical analysis and modeling of Insurance data
*2 years Experience with team leadership, mentoring and training

Responsibilities:
*Statistical analysis of insurance data and responsible for mentoring and consulting with other team members
*Develops and modifies historical settlement models
*Provides research into Data Mining and Predictive Modeling techniques
*Development of product enhancements including ad-hoc and automated reporting requirements
*Train customers in using statistical tools as well as communicating business intelligence. Look beyond the data to recognize where analytics can be used to help customers drive greater benefit from COA.
