Customer Service Representative at GREENVILLE

POSITION SUMMARY:Responsible for answering the inbound calls, processing orders and performing
administrative duties for the Aftermarket department.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Answer a minimum of 110 inbound calls daily and provide customer service.

Write up, process, and perform order entry accurately, completely, and promptly.

Research customer order information and respond as needed to inquiries; not limited to but
including troubleshooting and resolution of customer complaints and order issues.

Perform SFA documentation, Oracle updates and corrections.

Liaison with internal departments and external sources as it pertains to customer shipments,
UPS tracking and warehouse correspondence.

Assist department personnel as requested; including but not limited to: generating spreadsheets,
reports and presentations as well as processing drop shipments and documentation accurately, completely,
and promptly as needed.

Assist in the training of new personnel.

Other related duties as requested by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Microsoft Office intermediate skills..

Must have 1 year of heavy telephone and customer service experience.

PREFERRED:
Business and/or vocational post-high school education preferred.
One year experience in a call center environment.

Provide effective maintenance, warranty, and repair services (structural and routine) on all Company product lines and selected other equipment.

  • Experience could be gained in the servicing of same or related heavy equipment (e.g., farm tractors, cranes, ground support equipment, construction equipment, tanks).

  • Complete service and repair tasks ranging from the basic to complex. Such tasks include troubleshooting and repair of chassis electrical interface; setting and verifying hydraulic pressures and determining overall condition of machines through inspection and operation; performing major tasks such as rotation bearing and boom replacement; performing leveling and drive cable/chain replacement; pump and PTO diagnosis and replacement; hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting; replacing electrical and hydraulic components.
  • Complete assigned work, e.g., maintenance, service and repair including PM inspections, in a complete and efficient manner.
  • Keep skills and knowledge base current to effectively service and repair new machinery and implement new service and repair techniques. Acquire an effective knowledge of service procedures.
  • Utilize operators and parts & maintenance manuals to determine procedures and in identifying parts.
  • Practice clear, consistent, and concise communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of all service, repair and other work. Comply with record keeping requirements such as time tracking, parts inventory, customer invoicing, and expense reporting.
  • Assist in providing instruction to customer staff.
  • Coordinate with sales representatives and supervisor to advise of possible new product needs of the customer and of situations potentially impacting the customer relationship.
  • Work to generate additional service and parts revenue, as appropriate.
  • Provide training to more junior level or less experienced associates.
